Free Brief Decoder

AI doesn't have to make your
expertise obsolete.

For established designers, copywriters, consultants, and small creative shops who want to think clearly about AI — not be sold to about it. We teach better questions, not more prompts.

A small training and tools brand,
built for craft.

North Crow AI trains established creative pros to work with AI without losing what makes their work theirs.

The methodology is simple: better questions, simpler tools, intentional thinking. It works in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and whatever ships next — because the skill is in how you ask, not what you ask with. Tools commoditize. The skill compounds.

Everything we publish or build is that methodology applied to something a working creative actually faces in their week — vague briefs, brand decisions, scope creep, the volume problem, the relevance problem. Not generic AI training. Real reps on real work.

For designers, copywriters, consultants, and small creative shops with five or more years in the work.

No hype.

You've sat through enough countdown timers, “this changes everything” hooks, and 47-prompts-to-dominate threads to last a career. We make tools and methods that actually work, explained straight.

Better questions, not more prompts.

Prompt libraries go stale every model release. Asking better questions doesn't. The deeper your craft, the more it compounds.

Built from 30 years at the bench.

Kevin's been doing graphic and web design since 1996. He's run agencies, watched the web reinvent itself four times over, and learned AI the way he's learned everything else — by needing to. No certificates. No guru pose. Just the work.

A working designer.
Not a guru.

I'm Kevin Oskow. I've been doing graphic and web design since 1996, when I bought my first computer on financing my second freshman year of college because I was a broke student and I needed to figure out how to make money. I couldn't afford a repair bill, so I learned to fix the computer myself. Friends started bringing me their broken ones. That pattern's been the same ever since: figuring things out, helping the people next to me figure them out too.

I'm doing it again with AI. Same posture. No hype, no certainty about what's coming next, no claim to know your industry better than you do. Just a methodology — better questions, simpler tools, intentional thinking — so your craft compounds and your work stays meaningful, even as the tools commoditize.

If that lands, the Brief Decoder is the way in.
