Terms of Service.

The short version: be honest, don't repackage our work as your own, pay for what you buy, and use AI outputs with judgment. Below is the longer version, written in plain English where the law lets us.
By accessing or using northcrow.ai (the “Site”) or any tools, products, or services offered by North Crow AI (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
North Crow AI is a small training and tools brand operated by Kevin Oskow, based in California, United States. We make and sell AI methodology training, AI-assisted tools, and consulting services for established professionals.
- Free tools — downloadable templates, prompt-based tools, and other resources delivered after email signup. The Brief Decoder is one example.
- Paid products — in-site interactive tools, courses, and other resources purchased through Stripe. Where a product is described as “lifetime access,” that means access for as long as North Crow AI continues to offer the product, with at least 12 months' notice if we ever decide to retire it.
- Consulting and Sprints — paid engagements governed by a separate written agreement.
- Newsletter and content — free educational content delivered by email to people who've opted in.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Site or buy products.
For paid products, you may need to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
All payments are processed through Stripe. We don't store full payment card numbers on our servers. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
Free tools: not applicable — they're free.
Paid products purchased through northcrow.ai are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you're not satisfied. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. To request a refund, reply to any email from us or use the contact link in the footer.
Refund terms for consulting engagements are defined in the engagement agreement, not here.
All Site content — including methodology, written materials, prompts, templates, illustrations, and the visual design of products — is owned by North Crow AI or licensed to us. When you purchase or download a product, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own work and your clients' work. You may not resell our products, redistribute them, or republish them as your own.
Names like “North Crow AI,” “Brief Decoder,” “AI Interview Method,” and “The North Crow Sprint” are trademarks of North Crow AI.
Several of our products use third-party AI models, including those from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT), and Google (Gemini). When you use these products, the outputs are AI-generated. We make no guarantee about their accuracy, originality, or fitness for a specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and applying judgment to any AI-generated content before using it in your work.
When our products send your input to a third-party AI provider, we don't keep your input on our servers beyond what's needed to generate the response. Our service providers may have their own data-handling terms; please review them if relevant to you.
You agree not to:
- Use the Site or products to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or harmful to others
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or repackage our content for resale
- Misrepresent our methodology or products as your own original work
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site
The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Site will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that AI-generated outputs will produce specific business outcomes for you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, North Crow AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold North Crow AI harmless from any claim, demand, or damages arising from your use of the Site or products in violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the Site at any time.
We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms. For paid products, material changes will be communicated by email if we have your address.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
